Celecoxib, Tramadol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Higenamine interacts with.

Theoretically, higenamine might increase the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
In vitro research shows that higenamine inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Seglentis combines two medicines, and the one to focus on here is tramadol. Tramadol is a prodrug, meaning your body uses an enzyme called CYP2D6 to turn it into its stronger, pain-relieving form. Lab studies suggest higenamine may slow down that same enzyme. If that happened in real life, your body could make less of the active painkiller, so you might get weaker pain relief from your Seglentis.

Here's the honest part: this is only seen in test-tube research, never confirmed in people, so it's theoretical. I'd also gently flag that higenamine is a stimulant that can raise heart rate and blood pressure, which is its own concern. Before mixing these, please check with your pharmacist or doctor.

Theoretically, higenamine might increase the levels and clinical effects drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that higenamine inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes by 21%. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Seglentis combines two medicines: celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory for pain) and tramadol (an opioid-type pain reliever). The lab-only concern here is that higenamine may slightly block CYP3A4, one of the liver enzymes that helps break these drugs down. If that happens, levels could creep up a bit, possibly meaning more drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, or constipation from the tramadol side, and a touch more stomach upset from the celecoxib.

Honestly, this is theoretical. The 21% enzyme effect was seen in a test tube, not in real people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. What concerns me more is higenamine itself, since it can raise heart rate and blood pressure. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
