In a case report, a 22-year-old active duty male experienced paraspinal rhabdomyolysis after consuming higenamine-containing supplement (JACK3D micro) at 150% the recommended dose and performing heavy exercise shortly after consumption. Renal function returned to normal after a couple of days; however, severe muscle pain improved only after 3 months.”
