ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen
Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Indian Long Pepper interacts with.
In vitro research shows that Indian long pepper extract inhibits platelet aggregation.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with Advil Dual Action, which pairs ibuprofen (an anti-inflammatory) with acetaminophen. Ibuprofen already nudges your platelets toward not clotting as easily, so it can raise bleeding risk a little on its own. Some lab (test tube) research suggests Indian long pepper may also make platelets less sticky. Put them together and, in theory, the bleeding effect could add up.
I want to be honest about the evidence: this is based only on lab studies, not real people, so the risk is uncertain and likely small. Still, watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach upset, and tell your pharmacist or doctor if you take this spice regularly, especially in concentrated supplement doses rather than just cooking amounts.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen page
“Advil Dual Action pairs ibuprofen, an NSAID with built-in stomach-bleeding risk, and acetaminophen, which the liver processes, so this interaction list deserves a careful read, not a skim. Most of the entries can add to bleeding risk, while smaller clusters put extra strain on the liver or kidneys.”
