Here's the basic idea: Vildagliptin (Galvus) already works to bring your blood sugar down, and there's some early evidence that juniper berry may nudge blood sugar lower too. Put them together and, in theory, you could see a bigger drop than expected. With vildagliptin on its own the risk of true low blood sugar is fairly small, but adding another glucose-lowering helper could tip the balance, especially if you also take a sulfonylurea or insulin.

I want to be honest about the strength here: this is theoretical, based mostly on animal studies, not solid human research. Watch for signs of low sugar like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or confusion. Don't stop anything on your own. Just check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding juniper supplements.
