Neomycin falls under ANTIBIOTIC DRUGS — the group Lacticaseibacillus Paracasei interacts with.

Theoretically, taking Lacticaseibacillus paracasei with antibiotic drugs might decrease the effectiveness of L. paracasei.
L. paracasei preparations usually contain live and active organisms. Therefore, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and L. paracasei preparations by at least two hours.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: this works in the opposite direction of what most people expect. It's not that the probiotic changes how Neomycin behaves in your body. Instead, Neomycin (an antibiotic that kills bacteria) can wipe out the live Lacticaseibacillus paracasei organisms in your probiotic before they ever get a chance to do their job. So your probiotic may simply not work as well.

This is a theory based on how these two interact, not something proven in studies, so don't be alarmed. An easy fix is to space them out, taking your probiotic at least two hours apart from your Neomycin. If you're using oral Neomycin and want a plan, your pharmacist can help you time them.
