Ozanimod Hydrochloride falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Mace interacts with.

Animal research suggests that mace lignans can suppress immune function. Theoretically, concomitant use might enhance the effects of immunosuppressant drugs. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the gist: Zeposia (ozanimod) already works by quieting down part of your immune system to control your MS or ulcerative colitis. Some animal lab work hints that compounds in mace may also have a mild immune-dampening effect. So the theory is that piling them together could nudge your immune suppression a little further, which might raise your odds of catching infections or feeling run down.

I want to be honest, though: this is purely theoretical and based on animal studies, not real-world cases. Using mace as a kitchen spice is very unlikely to matter. The concern is really with concentrated mace supplements. Since Zeposia is a serious medication, just run any mace supplement past your pharmacist or doctor first before adding it.
