Belladona Extract, Phenobarbital falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Magnolia interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of large doses of magnolia bark and CNS depressants might have additive effects.
In vitro and animal research shows that constituents extracted from magnolia bark, especially honokiol and magnolol, have sedative effects. These effects may be due to the inhibition of catecholamine release and modulation of gamma-aminobutyric acid-A (GABA-A) receptors.

Here's the simple version: Chardonna-2 contains phenobarbital, a barbiturate that calms the nervous system and can make you sleepy. Magnolia bark seems to have its own calming, sedative-type activity, possibly by acting on the same GABA pathways in the brain. So the worry isn't that magnolia changes how your body clears the drug. Instead, the two could simply add together and dial up the drowsiness.

If you took both, you might feel extra sleepy, foggy, dizzy, or slowed down, and that can affect driving or balance. Honestly, though, this is only based on lab and animal studies, so it's more of a theoretical caution, mostly with concentrated magnolia supplement doses. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
