Here's the simple version: dexamfetamine is already a strong stimulant, and phenpromethamine acts like one too. Stack two stimulants together and their effects can pile up. That could mean a faster or pounding heartbeat, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, and in some cases more serious heart rhythm problems.

To be fair, this concern is theoretical, based on how these compounds work rather than solid studies. But there's a bigger issue here: phenpromethamine isn't an approved supplement at all. It's an amphetamine-like stimulant that's been slipped illegally into some sports and weight-loss products. I'd steer clear of anything listing it. Please don't change your dexamfetamine on your own, but do bring any supplement labels to your pharmacist or doctor so they can check them with you.
