Here's the simple version: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is already a stimulant for your brain and body, and phenpromethamine is a hidden stimulant that sometimes shows up illegally in sports and weight-loss products. Stacking two stimulants together can pile their effects on top of each other. The biggest worry is the heart and blood vessels, so think faster heart rate, higher blood pressure, palpitations, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, and feeling wired or anxious.

To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how these drugs work, not proof from studies. Still, I'd steer clear of any product listing phenpromethamine, since it isn't an approved or legitimate supplement anyway. If you've taken something containing it, or you're unsure what's in a product, please check the label with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing it with your Vyvanse.
