Here's the simple version: both phenpromethamine and your Dexedrine are stimulants that rev up the same system in your body. They each push up norepinephrine and similar signals, so stacking them can stack their effects. On paper, that means a bigger jump in heart rate and blood pressure, plus more jitteriness, trouble sleeping, headache, or palpitations. In rare cases that extra cardiovascular strain can be risky.

I'll be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on how these drugs work, not strong human studies. But there's a bigger issue: phenpromethamine isn't an approved supplement ingredient, and it shows up illegally in some weight-loss and sports products. I'd steer clear of any product listing it, and run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
