ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Ibuprofen lysine
Ibuprofen lysine falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Piracetam interacts with.
Preliminary clinical research shows that a single dose of piracetam inhibits platelet aggregation.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the thing to know about pairing piracetam with ibuprofen lysine (NeoProfen). Both can make your blood a little less likely to clot. Ibuprofen, like other NSAIDs, naturally tamps down platelets and can irritate the stomach lining. Early research suggests piracetam also slows platelets from clumping together. Stacking those two effects could nudge your bleeding risk higher.
In real life, that might show up as easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or stomach upset that turns into dark or bloody stools. This is rated major but still somewhat theoretical, so don't panic. If you're using both, especially regularly or at higher doses, please check with your pharmacist or doctor first and watch for any unusual bleeding.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ibuprofen lysine page
“Ibuprofen lysine (NeoProfen) is an injectable form of the NSAID ibuprofen, and this list warrants real attention, starting with its six major entries. The dominant pattern is bleeding: 202 of the 268 ingredients on file can thin the blood or slow clotting, which stacks on an NSAID's own tendency to irritate the stomach and blunt platel…”

About Piracetam
What is Piracetam?
- Memory and cognition ('nootropic')
- Cognitive decline and dementia
- Myoclonus
- Dyslexia in children
- Vertigo
Piracetam is a synthetic 'nootropic' drug studied mainly for cognitive decline, myoclonus, and certain neurological conditions, but evidence for boosting memory in healthy people is weak. It is a prescription medicine in many countries and is not an approved drug or dietary supplement in the United States, so quality and safety of products sold online vary. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before using it.
About Ibuprofen
What Is Ibuprofen Used For?
Brand name: NeoProfen
Oral ibuprofen products (tablets, coated tablets, and liquid-filled capsules) are used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains from headache, backache, toothache, muscular aches, menstrual cramps, minor arthritis pain, and the common cold, and to temporarily reduce fever. The oral prescription tablet (Ibu) is also indicated for the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, mild to moderate pain, and primary dysmenorrhea (painful periods).
Caldolor, an intravenous (IV) form, is approved for adults and children 3 months and older to manage mild to moderate pain, to manage moderate to severe pain alongside opioid pain medicines, and to reduce fever. A separate intravenous solution, Ibuprofen Lysine, is used specifically in premature infants to close a patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) — an abnormal blood vessel connection near the heart — when standard medical management has not worked.
