Nitrazepam falls under BENZODIAZEPINES — the group Pregnenolone interacts with.

Concomitant use of pregnenolone may reduce the effects of benzodiazepines.
Very preliminary clinical research shows that chronic use of pregnenolone reduces sedative effects of diazepam when compared with chronic use of placebo. This effect may be related to the activity of pregnenolone at GABAA receptors.

Here's the gist for these two together. Nitrazepam is a benzodiazepine you take to help you sleep, and it works by calming the brain through GABA receptors. Pregnenolone seems to nudge those same GABA receptors in the opposite direction, so taking it regularly may chip away at how well your nitrazepam works. In practice, that could mean it doesn't make you as drowsy or relaxed, and you might find it harder to fall or stay asleep.

I'll be honest with you: this is based on early, lower-quality research using diazepam, not nitrazepam specifically, so we're reasoning by family resemblance here. It's worth a heads-up but not a reason to panic. Since pregnenolone is a hormone with its own questions, please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before pairing these, and don't change your nitrazepam on your own.
