So in theory, stacking it on top of your birth control could add a little extra estrogen-like activity to the mix.
If that happened, you might notice more typical estrogen-related effects like breast tenderness, bloating, nausea, headaches, or mood shifts. I want to be honest though: this concern is theoretical, based on how the hormones work on paper, not on real-world reports of problems. We just don't have good human data here. Pregnenolone is a hormone your body can turn into other steroid hormones, including progestin-like ones. So in theory, layering it on top of your pill could add a little extra progestin-type activity. That might mean more of the usual progestin side effects, like breast tenderness, bloating, mood changes, or spotting.
I want to be honest about how shaky this is. This concern comes from how the hormones are built on paper, not from real studies in people taking the combo. We simply don't have good human data here. Since you're dealing with two hormone products, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before adding pregnenolone rather than guessing.
