Here's the gist with Azstarys (which contains dexmethylphenidate, a stimulant that already nudges up your heart rate and blood pressure). Raspberry ketone has a chemical shape a bit like synephrine, a mild stimulant of its own. The worry is that stacking the two could add to the stimulant load on your heart, possibly leading to a pounding or racing heartbeat, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, or chest discomfort.

I want to be honest about how solid this is: the evidence is mostly theoretical and based on scattered case reports, not strong studies. The scary outcomes that have been described were rare. Still, since both touch the heart, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially if you have any heart or blood pressure history. Don't change your Azstarys on your own.

Azstarys (serdexmethylphenidate/dexmethylphenidate) is approved to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in patients 6 years of age and older. It is not recommended for children younger than 6 because they experience higher drug levels in the blood and more side effects at the same doses used in older patients.
