The combination pill Triavil pairs amitriptyline (a tricyclic antidepressant) with perphenazine (an antipsychotic). Both of these are already known for making people feel drowsy, foggy, or slowed down. Sceletium (kanna) appears to have its own mild calming, sedative quality in early lab work, so the concern here is simple: stacking it on top of this medicine could add up to more sleepiness, dizziness, or trouble concentrating than you'd expect.

To be fair, this is a theoretical caution based on how the ingredients behave, not strong human proof. Still, since amitriptyline already affects mood and brain chemistry too, I'd run this by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them rather than guessing on your own.
