Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
P-GLYCOPROTEIN SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Avatrombopag Maleate
Avatrombopag Maleate falls under P-GLYCOPROTEIN SUBSTRATES — the group Strawberry interacts with.
Drugs that might be affected include some chemotherapeutic agents (etoposide, paclitaxel, vinblastine, vincristine, vindesine), antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole), protease inhibitors (amprenavir, indinavir, nelfinavir, saquinavir), H2 antagonists (cimetidine, ranitidine), some calcium channel blockers (diltiazem, verapamil), corticosteroids, erythromycin, cisapride (Propulsid), fexofenadine (Allegra), cyclosporine, loperamide (Imodium), quinidine, and others.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version. Your body uses a kind of cellular pump called P-glycoprotein to push certain drugs back out, which helps keep their levels in check. Avatrombopag (Doptelet) is one of the drugs that pump handles. Lab studies hint that strawberry extract may slow that pump down. If that happened in real life, a bit more avatrombopag could stay in your system, which in theory might raise your platelet count more than expected.
The important catch: this is only test-tube research, not something seen in people, so the real-world risk looks low. Eating strawberries in normal food amounts is very unlikely to matter. Before using concentrated strawberry supplements, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Avatrombopag Maleate page
“Avatrombopag maleate (Doptelet) exists to raise a low platelet count, so anything that drags its blood level down invites the bleeding risk it was prescribed to prevent. I would handle this list of 54 supplements with real care, and the two rated major come first.”

About Avatrombopag
What Is Avatrombopag Used For?
Brand name: Doptelet
