Here's the gist: taurine itself may gently nudge your blood pressure down. Bosentan isn't a blood pressure pill in the usual sense, but it does relax and widen blood vessels in your lungs, and it can lower blood pressure throughout the body too. So stacking taurine on top could add to that lowering effect.

If your pressure drops too far, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, flushed, or tired, especially when you stand up quickly. To be clear, this is a theoretical concern based on how each one works, not a strong proven reaction, so don't panic. Still, since you're managing a serious lung condition, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding regular taurine supplements.

What Is Bosentan Used For?

Brand name: Tracleer

Bosentan is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) — high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs. In adults, it helps improve the ability to exercise and slows how quickly the disease gets worse.

In children aged 3 years and older with idiopathic (no known cause) or congenital (present from birth) PAH, bosentan is used to lower resistance in the lung blood vessels, which is expected to improve exercise ability. Tracleer is one brand approved for both adults and pediatric patients with PAH.
