Here's the gist when you pair a thyroid extract with Consensi (which combines amlodipine, a blood pressure medicine, and celecoxib, an anti-inflammatory). The concern isn't with the amlodipine or celecoxib themselves. It's that the thyroid hormone in the extract doesn't absorb well when other pills or food share the same trip through your stomach. So taking them all at once can leave you with less thyroid hormone on board than you intended.

The fix is simple timing. If you take a thyroid product, take it on an empty stomach and wait at least 30 to 60 minutes before your Consensi dose. Honestly, though, please run any thyroid extract by your pharmacist or doctor first, since these over-the-counter products aren't standardized and the hormone amount can be unpredictable.
