Ibuprofen lysine falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Tocotrienols interacts with.

Concomitant use of tocotrienols with anticoagulant or antiplatelet agents might increase the risk of bleeding. However, this has not been reported in humans.
Taking tocotrienols orally inhibits experimentally-induced platelet aggregation in humans. Theoretically tocotrienols might increase the risk of bleeding if taken with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs. However, tocotrienols 400-800 mg daily have been used with aspirin and/or clopidogrel for 1 year with no clear cumulative antiplatelet effects and no reports of bleeding.

Here's the simple version. Ibuprofen lysine (NeoProfen) already nudges your blood toward being a little slower to clot, which is why aspirin-like stomach upset and easy bruising can show up with it. Tocotrienols, a form of vitamin E, have been shown in some studies to gently slow platelets too. So the theory is that stacking them could add up and slightly raise your chance of bleeding, like nosebleeds, bruising more easily, or stomach irritation.

The good news: this is mostly a theoretical concern. In real human studies, tocotrienols taken alongside blood thinners for a full year didn't clearly cause extra bleeding. Food amounts of vitamin E are no worry at all. Still, if you use concentrated tocotrienol supplements regularly, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye out.

About Ibuprofen

What Is Ibuprofen Used For?

Brand name: NeoProfen

Oral ibuprofen products (tablets, coated tablets, and liquid-filled capsules) are used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains from headache, backache, toothache, muscular aches, menstrual cramps, minor arthritis pain, and the common cold, and to temporarily reduce fever. The oral prescription tablet (Ibu) is also indicated for the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, mild to moderate pain, and primary dysmenorrhea (painful periods).

Caldolor, an intravenous (IV) form, is approved for adults and children 3 months and older to manage mild to moderate pain, to manage moderate to severe pain alongside opioid pain medicines, and to reduce fever. A separate intravenous solution, Ibuprofen Lysine, is used specifically in premature infants to close a patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) — an abnormal blood vessel connection near the heart — when standard medical management has not worked.
