    A preliminary clinical study in women with primary dysmenorrhea shows that taking uzara 80 mg every 8 hours for 2 doses and then 40 mg every 8 hours for up to 5 days during symptomatic menstrual cramps seems to reduce pain comparably to taking ibuprofen 400 mg every 6 hours. However, this study was not sufficiently powered to detect a difference between treatment groups.
