Here's the thing to keep in mind if you're reaching for senna (Senokot) while also taking Uzara. Senna is a stimulant laxative, and when it's overused or taken too long, it can flush potassium out of your body. Uzara contains natural cardiac glycosides, the same kind of heart-acting compounds found in certain heart drugs. Low potassium makes the heart more sensitive to those glycosides, so the worry is a higher chance of glycoside toxicity (things like nausea, a slow or irregular heartbeat, or feeling dizzy).

To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how these work, not something proven in studies. Using senna occasionally and as directed is unlikely to cause trouble. The risk creeps up with frequent or heavy use. I'd run this combo by your pharmacist or doctor first, especially if you have any heart issues.
