Alogliptin, Pioglitazone falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Vanadium interacts with.

Theoretically, vanadium might increase the risk of hypoglycemia when taken with antidiabetes drugs.
A few very small clinical studies in patients with type 2 diabetes show that the vanadyl sulfate form of vanadium increases insulin sensitivity and might lower blood glucose levels.

Here's the simple version: Oseni already lowers your blood sugar by combining two diabetes medicines (alogliptin and pioglitazone). Vanadium, especially the vanadyl sulfate form, seems to act a little like insulin and may push your blood sugar down on its own. Stack the two together and you could end up lower than expected, which means a higher chance of hypoglycemia, things like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion, or feeling weak.

This concern comes from a few very small studies, so it's not rock solid, but it's worth respecting. The trace amount of vanadium in normal food won't be an issue. If you're considering a vanadium supplement, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first, and don't change your Oseni dose on your own.
