Here's the gist with Librax (chlordiazepoxide and clidinium) and wheatgrass. Lab studies hint that wheatgrass may rev up a liver enzyme called CYP1A2, which is one of the pathways that helps break down the chlordiazepoxide (the benzodiazepine) part of Librax. If that enzyme speeds up, this medicine could clear out a little faster, which might mean it works less well, so you may notice more anxiety, cramping, or stomach symptoms that the drug was helping calm.

Honestly, this is theoretical and only comes from test-tube research, not real people, so it may not amount to much. It's nothing to panic over. If you enjoy wheatgrass, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on how well your Librax is working for you.

Chlordiazepoxide and clidinium capsules are used to help control both the physical and emotional factors involved in gastrointestinal (digestive) disorders. This includes use as add-on therapy for peptic ulcer, irritable bowel syndrome (also called irritable colon, spastic colon, or mucous colitis), and acute enterocolitis (sudden inflammation of the intestines).

Librax is one brand available in capsule form and is approved for the same set of gastrointestinal uses.
