- Chaga (Inonotus obliquus), known as "The King of Medicinal Mushrooms," has long been used in folk medicine in the Eastern Hemisphere, especially in Siberia, where legends tell of an amazing birch fungus (or mycelium mass, known as a sclarotia) with miraculous health properties. Records dating back to 1000 B.C. show the use of chaga to balance the body's life force, or "chi", in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chaga offers an abundance of antioxidants for skin, hair, and nail health, as well as overall support for increased immunity and vitality.
Chaga has a mild, earthy, slightly bitter flavor. Our chaga is wildcrafted and hot water extracted for greatest bioavailabiltiy. Chaga can be added to your favorite smoothie, fresh juice, coffee, or tea.
