Deep Immune Probiotics & Prebiotics Ingredients & Drug Interactions
by Dr Tobias
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Deep Immune Probiotics & Prebiotics against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Deep Immune Probiotics & Prebiotics by Dr Tobias
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
This product contains 8 ingredients total. The active ones are three live probiotic bacteria — Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bacillus coagulans, and Bacillus subtilis (listed as DE111) — plus Bifidobacterium animalis lactis, a prebiotic blend called PreforPro, and four bacteriophage ingredients.
The inactive ingredients are a delayed-release capsule coating, maltodextrin, and medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which help with absorption and shelf stability.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for these probiotics is mixed. Lactobacillus acidophilus is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome, Helicobacter pylori infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and bacterial vaginosis.
Bacillus coagulans is possibly effective for constipation and irritable bowel syndrome. Bacillus subtilis is possibly effective for antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
For most other uses — athletic performance, cirrhosis, eczema, diabetes — the evidence we have is insufficient to rate them. The bacteriophage ingredients and PreforPro don't have established effectiveness ratings in our data.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
These probiotics are generally well tolerated in healthy adults, though safety data for some ingredients are limited — talk with your doctor before starting. Side effects are uncommon but can include stomach discomfort, bloating, flatulence, diarrhea, and burping when probiotics are first taken.
Because these are live organisms, there's a theoretical concern they could cause serious infection in people who are very ill or have weakened immune systems, though this is rare in healthy people. No pregnancy or breastfeeding safety information is on file for these ingredients; ask your pharmacist or doctor for personalized guidance if you're pregnant or nursing.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check antibiotic drugs (antibiotics like amoxicillin, azithromycin, or ciprofloxacin) before taking this product — they may reduce how well these probiotics work. Separate them by a few hours if you can.
No other medication types are documented as interacting with the ingredients we could check.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This supplement may help with irritable bowel syndrome, antibiotic-related diarrhea, or constipation — the evidence is strongest for those. If you're on antibiotics, time this supplement a few hours apart to avoid reducing its benefit.
People with very weakened immune systems should check with their doctor first. Always run your medications through our checker before you start.

Deep Immune Probiotics & Prebiotics by Dr Tobias Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Deep Immune Probiotics & Prebiotics by Dr Tobias contains three active probiotic ingredients we checked for drug interactions: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bacillus coagulans, and Bacillus subtilis (DE111).
All three have the same interaction concern with antibiotic drugs (a Moderate severity issue). Because these probiotics are living organisms, antibiotics taken at the same time may kill them off and reduce their effectiveness.
The product also includes Bifidobacterium animalis lactis and several bacteriophage ingredients (LH01-Myoviridae, LL5-Siphoviridae, T4D-Myoviridae, and LL12-Myoviridae) that we could not check — we hold no interaction data for those.
