Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
Enterogenic Intensive I00 contains 11 active ingredients: a proprietary blend of probiotics — the good bacteria your gut can use — split into two groups. The first group includes Bifidobacterium species (bifidum, longum, and infantis), and the second includes Lactobacillus species (casei, paracasei, rhamnosus, salivarius, and acidophilus).
These are live organisms meant to help restore balance to your intestinal flora. The product also includes NutraFlora, a prebiotic (fructo-oligosaccharides or FOS) that acts as food for beneficial bacteria.
The inactive ingredients are plant-derived capsule material, potato starch, magnesium stearate, silica, and ascorbic acid.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for this product's ingredients is mixed. Lactobacillus acidophilus is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome, Helicobacter pylori infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and bacterial vaginosis.
Bifidobacterium bifidum is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome and respiratory tract infections. For other uses listed — including Alzheimer's disease, generalized anxiety, hay fever, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and athletic performance — the evidence is insufficient to say whether these ingredients work.
The prebiotic ingredient FOS doesn't have solid evidence for osteoporosis, constipation, diabetes, travelers' diarrhea, or cholesterol either.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
These probiotics are generally well tolerated in healthy people, but caution is warranted if you have a weakened immune system or are seriously ill — talk with your doctor first. The most common side effects are gastrointestinal: bloating, flatulence, abdominal pain, and gas.
These tend to be mild, especially at lower doses. Rare cases of serious bacterial infection (sepsis or bacteremia) have been reported in critically ill or immune-compromised patients, though these are uncommon and haven't been specifically tied to Bifidobacterium bifidum.
For pregnancy, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Lactobacillus acidophilus are rated possibly safe; Bifidobacterium longum and the FOS prebiotic are also rated possibly safe for both pregnancy and lactation. Limited data exist for all of these, so check with your doctor or pharmacist for personalized advice.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking Enterogenic Intensive I00, check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take antibiotic drugs. Antibiotics can kill the live organisms in this product and reduce its benefit, so your prescriber may want you to take them several hours apart.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This probiotic blend is generally well tolerated and may help with irritable bowel syndrome, some infections, and antibiotic-related diarrhea, depending on which strains matter for your situation. If you take antibiotics, you'll need to space out this product and your medication to keep the probiotics effective — ask your doctor or pharmacist about timing.
If you have a weakened immune system or are seriously ill, talk with your healthcare provider before starting it.

Enterogenic Intensive I00 by Integrative Therapeutics Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Enterogenic Intensive I00 by Integrative Therapeutics contains several probiotic ingredients with documented interactions — specifically through its Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum, and Lactobacillus acidophilus content.
The most serious concern is a Moderate interaction with antibiotic drugs: these antibiotics can kill the live organisms in the product, reducing its effectiveness. Since probiotics are most useful when their organisms survive, timing matters here.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
All three of these probiotic species carry the same Moderate interaction with antibiotics. If you're taking an antibiotic, you'll want to space out when you take it and this product — your doctor or pharmacist can tell you the best timing for your specific situation.
We couldn't check several other probiotic strains in this blend (L. casei HA-108, L. paracasei HA-274, L. rhamnosus HA-111, L. rhamnosus HA-114, L. salivarius HA-118, and B. infantis HA-116) because we hold no interaction data for them. The prebiotic ingredient NutraFlora (fructo-oligosaccharides) has no interactions documented in our data.
Altogether, these interactions span 182 individual medications.
