Artichoke
Description:Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) is a perennial plant native to the Mediterranean region that is known for its edible flower buds. Artichokes are a good source of fiber, vitamin C, and other nutrients. Artichoke has a history of use in traditional medicine, and studies show it may have a mild cholesterol-lowering effect and has also been used for gastrointestinal problems, such as heartburn and constipation. Although several parts of the artichoke have been used medicinally, for its use in dietary supplements, a standardized leaf extract is often used.

| Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions |
- 10 YEARS OLD AND OVER: Take one to three (1-3) capsules one-half hour before each meal with a glass of water. One (1) capsule before each meal is beneficial for general support to the liver, two (2) capsules before each meal is beneficial when you feel you may need more support than normal, and three (3) capsules before each meal for maximum results with serious health issues.
- CHILDREN DOSAGE 4-10 years: Begin with one (1) capsule per day for 5 days. Progress to one (1) in the AM and PM for the next week, then progress to a maximum of two (2) in the AM and two (2) in the PM.
- DIRECTIONS
It is important to drink 8 glasses of water per day.
