This capsule contains a single active ingredient: L-glutathione, a naturally occurring compound made up of three amino acids (glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine). Your cells produce glutathione and use it as an antioxidant — a substance that helps protect them from damage.
The capsule itself is made from hypromellose (a plant-based film), microcrystalline cellulose, and leucine, which are inactive ingredients used to form and stabilize the tablet.

Not established
The evidence for glutathione is mixed and incomplete. For cisplatin-induced neurotoxicity — nerve damage from the chemotherapy drug cisplatin — the data suggests it is possibly effective, though more research would help confirm that.
For nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, Alzheimer disease, athletic performance, and cataracts, the evidence we hold is not strong enough to rate it as effective or ineffective.
