These are collectively marketed as the NTFactor Proprietary Lipid Blend. The inactive ingredients include xylitol (a sugar alcohol sweetener), fructooligosaccharides, cocoa powder, stearic acid, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, chocolate and natural flavors, pantethine, rosemary extract, and a natural color.

Coenzyme Q10 is rated Likely Effective for treating coenzyme Q10 deficiency and Possibly Effective for fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, congestive heart failure, and diabetic nerve pain. Boron is rated Likely Effective for boron deficiency and Possibly Effective for vaginal yeast infections and radiation dermatitis, though it's rated Possibly Ineffective for athletic performance.
Phosphatidyl-choline shows Possibly Effective evidence for ulcerative colitis but Insufficient Reliable Evidence for fatty liver disease, alcohol-related liver disease, Alzheimer's disease, and anxiety. How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Coenzyme Q10 is generally well tolerated by most adults. Gastrointestinal side effects—appetite suppression, diarrhea, epigastric discomfort, heartburn, nausea, and vomiting—occur in less than 1% of users; dividing daily doses above 100 mg can help minimize these.
Headache, dizziness, and insomnia have been reported, and rarely, cognitive decline, depression, falls, increased lethargy, or a feeling of trembling. Skin itching and allergic rash have also been reported.
Boron is generally well tolerated at doses below 20 mg daily; higher doses can be toxic and cause skin problems, hair loss, and serious poisoning symptoms. There isn't enough reliable safety data to recommend coenzyme Q10 in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, so check with your doctor.
Boron should be avoided in pregnancy—high amounts may harm the fetus—and while breastfeeding due to limited safety data. Phosphatidyl-choline is generally well tolerated but high doses may cause digestive upset; choline is needed in pregnancy, but supplement safety beyond food sources isn't well studied—talk with your doctor.
Phosphatidyl-serine is generally well tolerated, though long-term safety isn't fully established; there isn't enough safety information to use it in pregnancy, and breastfeeding safety is unknown.

NTFactor CoQ10 Chocolate Chewables from NutriCology interacts with medications through its coenzyme Q10 and phosphatidyl-serine content.
The most serious concern is with chemotherapy drugs called alkylating agents (such as cyclophosphamide)—coenzyme Q10's antioxidant effects may theoretically reduce how well these cancer medicines work by protecting tumor cells from the oxidative stress these drugs rely on.

Coenzyme Q10 also has a Moderate interaction with warfarin (Coumadin), a blood thinner. Because coenzyme Q10 is chemically similar to vitamin K, it may have clot-promoting effects that could decrease warfarin's effectiveness; four cases of reduced warfarin potency attributed to coenzyme Q10 have been reported in the literature.
There's also a Minor interaction with blood pressure medications—coenzyme Q10 can lower blood pressure on its own, so taking it with antihypertensive drugs might cause additive effects.
Phosphatidyl-serine carries Moderate interactions with anticholinergic drugs (medications that block acetylcholine's effects) and cholinergic drugs (medications that enhance acetylcholine's effects). Because phosphatidyl-serine may increase acetylcholine levels, it could theoretically reduce how anticholinergic drugs work or add to the effects of cholinergic medications.

Phosphatidyl-Serine
Anticholinergic Drugs
Theoretically, phosphatidylserine might decrease the effectiveness anticholinergic drugs.
Phosphatidylserine is thought to increase acetylcholine levels, which could theoretically interfere with the activity of anticholinergic agents.
Cholinergic Drugs
Theoretically, phosphatidylserine might have additive effects with cholinergic drugs.
Phosphatidylserine is thought to increase acetylcholine levels, which could theoretically lead to additive cholinergic effects when used with cholinergic drugs.
Coenzyme Q10
Alkylating Agents
Coenzyme Q10 has antioxidant effects. Theoretically, this may reduce the activity of chemotherapy drugs that generate free radicals.
Theoretically, antioxidants such as coenzyme Q10 might protect tumor cells from chemotherapeutic agents that work by inducing oxidative stress, such as alkylating agents (e.g., cyclophosphamide) and radiation therapy. The clinical importance of this interaction is unknown.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Coenzyme Q10 is chemically similar to menaquinone and might have vitamin K-like procoagulant effects, which could decrease the effects of warfarin.
Concomitant use of coenzyme Q10 and warfarin might reduce the anticoagulant effects of warfarin. Four cases of decreased warfarin efficacy thought to be due to coenzyme Q10 have been reported. However, there is some preliminary clinical research that suggests coenzyme Q10 might not significantly decrease the effects of warfarin in patients who have a stable INR.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, coenzyme Q10 might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Some clinical research shows that coenzyme Q10 can significantly lower blood pressure, although other studies have shown conflicting results.
