Every active ingredient lists its own amount on the label.

Why this rating?
  • The label discloses an exact amount for 3 of its 3 active ingredients.
  • No proprietary blends here — you can verify the dose of every single component.

Peak Maximum Endurance has three active ingredients. Diindolylmethane is a compound found in cruciferous vegetables; N, N-Dimethylglycine Hydrochloride is an amino acid derivative; and Nitrosigine is a patented amino acid complex.

The product also contains inactive ingredients — a vegetable capsule shell and two flow agents (Nu-Flow and Nu-Mag) — to help with manufacture and absorption.

Evidence for Intended Use · database check
By FDA rules, dietary supplements can’t claim to treat, cure, or prevent disease — so labels speak in careful marketing language. We discern each product’s intended use from its name, label claims, and label statements, then grade the clinical evidence for that use. How these ratings are computed
Not assessable

We hold no graded evidence for this product's ingredients for its stated purpose.

Why this rating?
  • The label markets this product for: energy, stamina and performance.
  • We looked for evidence on: athletic endurance, exercise capacity, physical stamina.
  • Our graded evidence for these ingredients doesn't cover that particular purpose.

The data we hold shows insufficient reliable evidence to rate diindolylmethane for the conditions it is marketed to support, which include benign prostate enlargement, breast and colorectal cancers, cervical cell changes, and breast pain. That means the evidence is too limited or unclear right now to say whether it works.

We have no effectiveness data on file for the other two active ingredients.

How safe is it?

Well-documented data
Safety Information · database check
Well characterized

Adverse-effect, pregnancy, and general safety data are on file for most of these ingredients.

Why this rating?
  • We hold adverse-effect (side-effect) data for 1 of the 1 matched ingredient.
  • Pregnancy & breastfeeding safety ratings cover 1 of 1.
  • General safety write-ups exist for 1 of 1.
  • Remember: this measures how much safety information exists. Thin data is not the same as being safe.

Diindolylmethane is generally well tolerated in short-term studies, but long-term safety isn't well established. The most common side effects are diarrhea, gas, headache, nausea, rash, and vomiting.

A rare serious effect called DRESS (a drug rash with systemic symptoms) has been reported. One case of stroke was reported in a person taking diindolylmethane alongside other supplements, but that person had multiple stroke risk factors, so it's unclear if this ingredient played a role.

For pregnancy, the data says diindolylmethane is likely safe. For breastfeeding, there isn't enough safety data, so it's best avoided.

We have no safety data on file for N, N-Dimethylglycine Hydrochloride or Nitrosigine.

Why this rating?
  • 1 of the 1 matched ingredient can interact with medications — Diindolylmethane.
  • The most serious interaction on file is rated Moderate.
  • For scale: 269 individual medications appear in the full list. A big number alone doesn't make a product dangerous — what matters is whether YOUR medication is on it, so run yours through the interaction checker on this page.

Check with your pharmacist before using this product if you take estrogens (birth control or hormone replacement therapy), diuretic drugs (water pills that lower sodium), or any medication metabolized by the liver enzyme CYP1A2. Peak Maximum Endurance by Peak Pure & Natural: Common Questions

Does Peak Maximum Endurance by Peak Pure & Natural interact with any medications?
Yes. Based on its ingredients, Peak Maximum Endurance has a known interaction with 269 medications. Use the checker to see how it interacts with a specific drug.
How can one product interact with so many drugs?
Peak Maximum Endurance contains 3 active ingredients, and an interaction can come from any of them. We check every ingredient, combine the results into one list per medication, and show which ingredient and mechanism is responsible.
Where does this information come from?
The product label data comes from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD); the interaction data is built on the Natural Medicines database and reviewed by HelloPharmacist pharmacists.
Can I take this while pregnant?
The safety data rates diindolylmethane as likely safe in pregnancy. However, the other two active ingredients don't have pregnancy safety data on file, so it's smart to check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product during pregnancy to make sure it's right for your situation.
Can I take this while breastfeeding?
There isn't enough safety data for diindolylmethane during breastfeeding, so it's best to avoid it. The other two active ingredients also lack breastfeeding safety information. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor about whether this is the right choice for you right now.
What are the most common side effects?
The most common side effects of diindolylmethane are diarrhea, gas, headache, nausea, rash, and vomiting. Most people don't experience serious problems, but if you notice a rash that spreads or worsens, stop and call your doctor.
Does this product actually work?
The data we hold shows insufficient reliable evidence to say whether diindolylmethane works for the conditions this product markets it for — prostate health, cancer prevention, and breast pain. The evidence is too limited right now to make that call.
Why can't you check two of the ingredients for drug interactions?
We hold no interaction data for N, N-Dimethylglycine Hydrochloride or Nitrosigine, so we can't tell you whether they interact with medications. That doesn't mean they're interaction-free — it just means the information isn't available to us. Your pharmacist can help you look into those separately.
