Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
This product is a blend of 7 ingredients: live beneficial bacteria (probiotics) including Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium breve, and Bifidobacterium lactis, plus Bifidobacterium as a group blend. It also contains bovine colostrum — the nutrient-rich first milk from cows — which supplies immunoglobulins and proline-rich polypeptides.
The inactive ingredients are hypromellose, medium-chain triglycerides, heat-treated rice flour, sunflower lecithin, silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence we hold shows Lactobacillus acidophilus is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), antibiotic-associated diarrhea, Helicobacter pylori infection, and bacterial vaginosis. It's rated possibly ineffective for atopic disease (eczema and allergies), and the evidence for acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) isn't established.
For Bifidobacterium breve, the data we hold show it may not work for age-related cognitive decline or sepsis; evidence for allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and atopic disease isn't established yet, and we have no rating for antibiotic-associated diarrhea. We hold no effectiveness data for the other ingredients in this product.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Lactobacillus acidophilus is generally well tolerated in healthy adults and children. Taking it with other probiotics — as you would in this product — may cause gastrointestinal side effects like epigastric discomfort, abdominal pain, bloating, flatulence, or diarrhea, though these are uncommon.
Rare but serious cases of infection (bacteremia, sepsis, endocarditis) have been reported, mostly in patients with other underlying conditions. Bifidobacterium breve is generally well tolerated in healthy people, but caution is advised if you're very ill or immunocompromised — rare cases of bacteremia have occurred, especially in critically ill infants and preterm infants.
Bloating and flatulence may occur with probiotic use. We have no safety data on file for Immunoglobulins, Proline-Rich Polypeptides, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus plantarum, or Bifidobacterium lactis.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take antibiotic drugs, time this product carefully — separate your antibiotic dose from the probiotic by several hours, since antibiotics may reduce how well the live bacteria work. Several ingredients in this product could not be checked for drug interactions because we hold no data for them.
Use the search tool on this page to look up your specific medications.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This probiotic blend may help if you have IBS, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, or certain infections — though evidence is modest. If you're taking antibiotics, separate them from this product so the antibiotics don't kill the live cultures.
If you're very ill, immunocompromised, or have a critical illness, talk with your doctor before starting it. Check with your own doctor or pharmacist about whether this product makes sense for your health and any medications you take.

General Statements
Combines probiotics with Colostrum for the synergistic support of digestive balance A cutting-edge, science based, combination of wholesome ingredients for digestive health support that represents the next generation in probiotic supplementation.
10 billion live microencapsulated cells derived from 5 clinically studied human probiotic strains
Every live cell has a protective coating which helps more live cells reach the intestine and grow better than uncoated probiotics.
What are probiotics? Probiotics are live microorganisms that are also known as “good” bacteria that help promote a healthy digestive tract and immune system. What is Colustrum? Colostrum is the first milk produced by mammals (cows) after birth and is particularly rich in immunoglobulins, immune supporting peptides (lactoferrin & lactoperoxidase) and other bioactive molecules, including growth factors. Combined, the bioactive natural compounds found in colostrum help promote immune health and support normal gastrointestinal tract health.
