What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: Tribulus terrestris at 600 mg per capsule. The capsule itself is made from hypromellose, a plant-based capsule material.
Tribulus terrestris is a plant extract used in traditional medicine and supplements, most commonly marketed for sexual function and athletic performance.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Tribulus terrestris shows possibly effective evidence for sexual dysfunction — the main reason people use it. For athletic performance, the evidence points toward possibly ineffective.
For benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), we don't have enough reliable evidence to rate whether it works.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Tribulus is generally well tolerated in short-term use in healthy adults, but long-term safety data and quality standards are limited. Serious side effects are rare but have been reported — these include liver and kidney injury, seizures, and in one case, a painful prolonged erection with impaired sexual function.
More commonly, some people report stomach upset including abdominal pain, cramping, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation, though in one study these rates were similar to placebo. Avoid tribulus during pregnancy because it may affect hormone levels and safety hasn't been established.
Also avoid it while breastfeeding due to lack of reliable safety data. If you're pregnant or nursing, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using any supplement.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this product, double-check blood pressure medications (antihypertensive drugs), blood sugar medications (antidiabetes drugs), and lithium with your doctor or pharmacist. All three carry Moderate interaction risks with tribulus.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.

Tribulus Terrestris 600 mg by BulkSupplements.com Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Tribulus Terrestris 600 mg by BulkSupplements.com interacts with medications through its single active ingredient, tribulus terrestris — most notably with blood pressure medications (antihypertensive drugs), where the risk is Moderate.
Tribulus can lower blood pressure by blocking an enzyme that normally narrows blood vessels, so combining it with blood pressure drugs could push your numbers too low.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
You'll also want to flag blood sugar medications (antidiabetes drugs) — another Moderate concern. Tribulus has been shown to lower blood glucose in people with type 2 diabetes who are already on diabetes medications, which raises the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
Lithium, a mood-stabilizing medication, carries a Moderate interaction as well. Tribulus may have mild water-shedding (diuretic) effects that could slow lithium excretion and raise its levels in your blood, potentially requiring a dose adjustment.
Altogether, these interactions span 259 individual medications. Use the medication checker on this page to look up your exact drugs before starting.
