Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
This liquid contains nine ingredients, including a proprietary blend and an acai juice extract blend. The active components are acai (from Euterpe Oleracea Martius), chia seed extract, maca tuber extract, camu camu, and maqui berry extract — all plant-based fruit and seed extracts.
Yacon syrup and fiber are also in the formula. The inactive ingredients are water, additional fiber blend, fructose, citric acid, natural flavors, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, xanthan gum, sucralose, and acesulfame potassium.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for this product's purposes isn't established in the data we hold. Acai has insufficient reliable evidence for aging skin, athletic performance, erectile dysfunction, and high cholesterol.
Chia seed extract is rated possibly ineffective for high cholesterol and obesity. Maca tuber extract shows insufficient evidence for amenorrhea, anemia, antidepressant-induced sexual dysfunction, athletic performance, and osteoporosis.
Maqui berry extract and camu camu also lack reliable evidence for their listed purposes. No ingredient in this product has strong evidence backing its effectiveness.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Chia seed extract is generally well tolerated in normal food amounts, though some people report flatulence and soft stools. Rare cases of anaphylaxis have been reported in sensitive individuals.
Acai is generally well tolerated as a food, but concentrated supplements haven't been well studied. Maca tuber extract can cause stomach pain if consumed fresh and uncooked, and is generally well tolerated otherwise.
Camu camu and maqui berry extract lack long-term safety data at high supplement doses. For pregnancy and breastfeeding: concentrated acai supplements, maca, camu camu, and maqui are all advised against due to insufficient safety data.
Chia as a food is likely fine during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but concentrated supplement amounts haven't been well studied — talk with your doctor or pharmacist for personalized guidance.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Double-check this product if you take antidiabetes drugs — acai may interfere with blood sugar control (Moderate severity), and maqui might increase low blood sugar risk (Minor severity). No other medication interactions are documented for the ingredients we could check.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product is aimed at weight management and general wellness, but the ingredients lack strong evidence of effectiveness. If you take antidiabetes medication, check your specific drugs with our tool before starting.
The chia and acai are generally well tolerated, though the other ingredients need more safety research — especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medications. Talk with your pharmacist before adding it to your routine.

General Statements
Helps Promote Weight Loss Provides Vital Prebiotic Fiber (FOS) Supports Healthy Metabolism Rich in Antioxidants
METABOLIC GAME CHANGER
Peruvian Weight Loss Formula
Found in Peru and other parts of South America Yacon, often referred to as Peruvian ground apple, is a tuberous root, much like a jicama or sweet potato. The Yacon Tuber can be eaten plain, dried into a powder or cooked into a syrup or tea. In all its forms Yacon has been shown to support weight loss and healthy blood sugar levels. Yacon is an important natural source of FOS (fructooligosaccharides) which are a vital source of fiber for healthy digestive balance and good probiotic function by promoting "friendly bacteria". This type of fiber passes through the digestive tract unmetabolized and has a very low caloric value. This natural source of fiber has been shown to slow food transit time and support healthy blood sugar levels which can assist in reducing food cravings and assist in weight loss.

Yacon Slim With Chia And Acai by DietWorks Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Yacon Slim With Chia And Acai by DietWorks has documented interactions with antidiabetes drugs (medications that lower blood sugar).
The most serious concern is acai, which may interfere with how your body controls blood glucose — preliminary research shows it can raise or lower fasting blood sugar, so combining it with diabetes medication could affect your sugar control unpredictably.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Maqui berry extract in this product also interacts with antidiabetes drugs, though at a lower severity level. Animal studies suggest maqui might increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) when paired with these medications, though human trials haven't confirmed this effect yet.
We could not check fiber, yacon syrup, capauacu juice, and pichuberry juice — we hold no data for these ingredients. Chia seed extract and maca tuber extract have no interactions documented in our data, which is not a guarantee none exist.
Altogether, these interactions span 85 individual medications.
If you take any antidiabetes drug, run it through the checker below before adding this product to be sure.
