Here's the gist with Azstarys (which contains serdexmethylphenidate, a prodrug that converts into dexmethylphenidate). This stimulant nudges up brain chemicals like dopamine and norepinephrine, and it has some serotonin activity too. Acetyl-L-carnitine, at least in animal studies, can raise serotonin levels in the brain. Put them together and the theory is you could stack a little more serotonin activity on top.

If that pushed too far, you might notice things like a racing heart, jitteriness, sweating, agitation, or trembling. I want to be honest, though: this is based only on lab and animal data, so the real-world risk in people is uncertain and likely small. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially if you take other serotonin-affecting medicines.
