Flurbiprofen falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Alfalfa interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of alfalfa with photosensitizing drugs might have additive effects.
Animal research suggests that excessive doses of alfalfa may increase photosensitivity, possibly due to its chlorophyll content. It is unclear if this effect would be clinically relevant in humans.

Here's the gist of this one. Flurbiprofen, like a lot of NSAIDs, can make your skin a little more sensitive to sunlight, so you may sunburn faster than usual. Alfalfa, when taken in big concentrated supplement doses, may also bump up sun sensitivity, possibly because of the chlorophyll it contains. Stack the two together and the worry is that their effects could add up.

I want to be straight with you though: this is theoretical. It comes mostly from animal research using heavy alfalfa doses, and we don't really know if it matters in people. Eating alfalfa sprouts in a salad is very unlikely to be an issue. If you take alfalfa supplements regularly, just use sunscreen and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

Flurbiprofen tablets (sold as Flurbiprofen and Lurbiro) are used to relieve the pain, swelling, and stiffness of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Flurbiprofen Sodium eye drops are a separate product used during eye surgery — specifically to keep the pupil from constricting (getting smaller) while the procedure is underway. This use applies only to the ophthalmic (eye drop) form.
