Here's the simple version. Etodolac is an NSAID, like ibuprofen's cousin, and one of its less talked-about quirks is that it can make your skin a bit more sensitive to sunlight in some people. Alfalfa contains chlorophyll, and in animal studies, large amounts seemed to bump up sun sensitivity too. The worry is just that the two together might add up and leave you a little more prone to sunburn or a skin rash than usual.

I want to be honest with you, though: this is theoretical. It's based on pharmacology and animal data, not solid human proof, and small amounts of alfalfa in food are very unlikely to matter. If you take concentrated alfalfa supplements, just use good sun protection and check with your pharmacist before combining them.

Etodolac capsules and tablets are used to manage the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, both short-term and long-term. They are also used for acute pain relief.

Etodolac extended-release tablets are indicated for the relief of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile arthritis (in patients aged 6 to 16).
