Pregnancy And Lactation Likely Unsafe

When inorganic arsenic is taken orally, especially when used long-term or in high doses. While exposure to inorganic arsenic in drinking water does not seem to increase the risk of neural tube defects, it has been associated with an increased risk for spontaneous abortion, stillbirth, and neonatal mortality. Exposure to inorganic arsenic in drinking water and other sources while pregnant has also been linked to changes in birth weight, length, and head circumference, with one study showing that higher maternal blood arsenic levels are associated with 44% greater odds of delivering a small for gestational age infant and 103% greater odds of delivering a large for gestational age infant. Avoid arsenic supplements and water contaminated with arsenic during pregnancy or lactation.

What Is Clopidogrel Used For?

Brand name: Plavix

Clopidogrel tablets are used to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) — including unstable angina and non-ST-elevation or ST-elevation heart attacks — and in people with a history of recent heart attack, recent stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease. For ACS, it is typically given alongside aspirin.

It works by preventing platelets (blood cells that trigger clotting) from clumping together, which helps keep arteries open and lowers the chance of a dangerous clot forming.
