Aspirin, Caffeine, Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Beet interacts with.
In vitro research suggests that betanin, the major pigment in beet, competitively inhibits CYP3A4 in a dose-dependent manner similarly to strong CYP3A4 inhibitor ketoconazole.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with Synalgos DC (aspirin, caffeine, and dihydrocodeine). Lab-dish studies hint that a beet pigment called betanin might slow down CYP3A4, one of the liver enzymes that helps process the dihydrocodeine and caffeine parts of this combo. If that slowdown happened in real life, those components could linger a bit longer, which in theory could nudge up the opioid effects like drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, or slowed breathing, plus more caffeine jitters.
The honest truth is this is theoretical. It comes only from test-tube research, not from people, and beets eaten as food are very unlikely to cause a problem. Concentrated beet supplements are less studied. If you take a strong beet supplement regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on things.

The piece of this combo pill that beet might touch is the caffeine. Caffeine is cleared by an enzyme called CYP1A2, and very early lab research hints that beet could speed that enzyme up a little. If that happened, your body might clear caffeine slightly faster, meaning the small caffeine boost in this product could feel a touch weaker. Honestly, the effect is tiny and theoretical.
The aspirin and dihydrocodeine portions (your pain relievers) are not handled by this enzyme, so they should not be affected here. Bottom line: normal amounts of beets in food are very unlikely to matter. If you take concentrated beetroot supplements regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on things.
