Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Flutamide
Flutamide falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Black Hoof Mushroom interacts with.
In vitro, polysaccharides from black hoof mushroom grown in culture inhibit CYP1A2. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version. Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP1A2 to help process Flutamide. In lab dishes, compounds from Black Hoof Mushroom slowed that same enzyme down. If that happened in a person, Flutamide could clear out a little more slowly and build up, which in theory might mean stronger effects and a higher chance of side effects like nausea, diarrhea, hot flashes, or stress on the liver.
The honest part: this comes only from test-tube research, not from real people, so we don't know if it matters in everyday life. Flutamide already needs careful liver monitoring, so to be safe, just check with your pharmacist or oncologist before adding this mushroom. Don't change your cancer medicine on your own.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Flutamide page
“A man taking flutamide (Eulexin) to block testosterone during prostate cancer treatment cannot afford big swings in the drug's level, and most of the 189 supplements on this page are capable of causing exactly that. The bulk of them work through the liver enzyme CYP3A4, which breaks flutamide down.”

About Flutamide
What Is Flutamide Used For?
Brand names: Eulexin, Euflex
Flutamide treats prostate cancer in men. Eulexin capsules are used with an LHRH-agonist (a type of hormone-lowering therapy) for locally confined Stage B2-C and Stage D2 metastatic (spread) prostate cancer.
