Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Triamcinolone
Triamcinolone falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Black Hoof Mushroom interacts with.
In animal research, polysaccharides from black hoof mushroom and black hoof mushroom extract stimulate immune responses.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the basic idea. Triamcinolone is a corticosteroid, and one of its big jobs is to calm down an overactive immune system, which is why it helps with things like arthritis flares, severe allergies, asthma, and certain skin conditions. Black Hoof Mushroom seems to do the opposite. In lab and animal studies, its polysaccharides (beta-glucans) appear to stimulate the immune system. So in theory, taking the two together could work against each other and make your triamcinolone less effective.
I'll be honest with you, this is only a theoretical concern based on how these compounds behave in animals, not real human results, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, if you're relying on triamcinolone to control inflammation, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding the mushroom. Don't change your steroid dose on your own.

Brand names: Aristocort, Kenacort, Adcortyl Intra-articular / Intradermal, Kenalog Intra-articular / Intramuscular, Adcortyl in Orabase, Triesence
Triamcinolone treats inflammation and allergic or immune-related problems. What it is used for depends on the product and how it is given.
