Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Beclomethasone
Beclomethasone falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Black Hoof Mushroom interacts with.
In animal research, polysaccharides from black hoof mushroom and black hoof mushroom extract stimulate immune responses.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thinking behind this pairing. Beclomethasone is an inhaled steroid that calms swelling in your airways, partly by quieting parts of the immune response. Black Hoof Mushroom seems to do the opposite in lab and animal studies, where its polysaccharides nudge the immune system to be more active. So in theory, the mushroom could work against what the steroid is trying to do, possibly making your asthma control a little less reliable (more wheezing, coughing, or chest tightness).
I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern based on how things behave in a test tube and in animals, not proven in people. Beclomethasone also acts mostly right in the lungs, so a whole-body effect is less likely. Still, before adding this supplement, run it by your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your breathing.

- Immune system support
- Antioxidant support
- General wellness
- Traditional cancer-supportive use
- Inflammation
Black Hoof Mushroom (Phellinus linteus) is a medicinal mushroom long used in East Asian traditional medicine, mainly for immune support. About Beclomethasone Oral Inhalation
What Is Beclomethasone Oral Inhalation Used For?
Brand names: Beclovent, Vanceril
Beclomethasone dipropionate HFA inhalation aerosol (the oral inhaler, sold as Qvar Redihaler) is used for the long-term, preventive treatment of asthma in people 5 years of age and older.
It is not a rescue inhaler. It does not relieve sudden asthma symptoms such as shortness of breath. The nasal spray form, Qnasl, appears in the supplied label text in studies of allergic rhinitis (nasal allergy symptoms), but no approved uses for it are listed there.
