Aripiprazole Lauroxil falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Bog Labrador Tea interacts with.

In vitro research shows that aqueous and ethanolic extracts of Bog Labrador tea leaves can increase the concentration of cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) enzymes. Extracts obtained from different geographical regions in Quebec resulted in differing potency of CYP3A4 induction. Bog Labrador tea might increase the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.
Drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), clarithromycin (Biaxin), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), diltiazem (Cardizem), estrogens, indinavir (Crixivan), amiodarone (Cordarone), ticagrelor (Brilinta), triazolam (Halcion), and others.

Here's the gist for your Aristada (aripiprazole lauroxil) shots. Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to help break down aripiprazole. In lab studies, Bog Labrador tea seemed to speed that enzyme up (called induction). If that happens in real life, your body could clear the medication a little faster, which might make it work less well at keeping symptoms steady. With a long-acting injection used to manage schizophrenia or bipolar I, you really don't want your levels drifting down and risking a return of symptoms.

That said, this is based only on test-tube research, not on people, so it's far from certain. Please don't change anything on your own. Just give your pharmacist or prescriber a heads-up before adding this tea.
