Bepridil falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Boswellia Serrata interacts with.

Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might increase or decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Other in vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes at most concentrations, although it may modestly induce enzyme activity at low concentrations.

Here's the situation with Bepridil and Boswellia serrata. Bepridil is an older heart rhythm and chest pain (angina) medication, and your body clears it largely through a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab studies suggest boswellic acids may block (inhibit) that enzyme, which in theory could let bepridil build up to higher levels in your blood.

Why I'd pay attention here: bepridil is one of those drugs where a little extra can matter, because it can prolong the heart's QT interval and trigger dangerous rhythm problems. Higher levels could also mean more dizziness, nausea, or a slow heartbeat. That said, this is theoretical, based only on test-tube data, not real patients. Still, given bepridil's risks, please run this combination by your pharmacist or doctor first.
