Anisindione (Miradon) is an oral blood thinner, in the same family as warfarin. Its whole job is to slow down how easily your blood clots. On its own, that already raises your chance of bruising or bleeding if the dose runs a little high.

Here's the concern with Bulbine natalensis: in lab dish studies, its leaf extract appeared to keep platelets (the cells that help form clots) from clumping together. Stack that mild blood-thinning effect on top of a drug that already thins your blood, and you could, in theory, see more easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or blood in your urine or stool. I want to be honest though, this is theoretical and based only on test-tube work, not on real people. Since anisindione is a narrow-margin drug where small shifts matter, please check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining the two.
