Theoretically, Bulbine natalensis stem might increase the levels and clinical effects of p-glycoprotein substrates.
In vitro research shows that Bulbine natalensis stem extract induces p-glycoprotein mRNA expression; however, effects on transporter expression were not evaluated.

Here's the short version on mixing Bulbine natalensis with danicopan (Voydeya). Danicopan is carried around your body partly by a cellular pump called P-glycoprotein. It is an active drug on its own, not a prodrug, so anything that changes that pump can change how much danicopan stays in your system.

Now, honestly, this concern is very theoretical. It comes only from lab (in vitro) work suggesting the plant might nudge P-glycoprotein activity, and the direction isn't even clear. In practice we can't reliably say danicopan levels would go up or down. On top of that, Bulbine has its own liver and kidney safety worries. I'd skip guessing and just run it by your pharmacist or prescriber before combining them.
