Here's the concern with pairing Bupleurum and Amjevita (adalimumab-atto). Amjevita is a biologic that works by calming down an overactive immune system, which is why it helps with conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and Crohn's disease. Bupleurum, on the other hand, has shown in lab and animal studies that it may stimulate immune activity. So in theory, it could push against what your medication is trying to do and make it work less well.

In real life, that might mean a flare-up of your symptoms, such as more joint pain, swelling, or skin or gut trouble. I want to be honest though: this is based only on test-tube and animal research, not people, so it's far from proven. Bupleurum has also been tied to liver problems, which is another reason to be careful. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
