Here's the idea with these two together. Bupleurum may gently nudge your immune system to be more active. Prednisolone, on the other hand, is often prescribed to calm an overactive immune response, whether that's for inflammation, an autoimmune flare, or protecting a transplanted organ. So in theory, taking bupleurum could work against what your prednisolone is trying to do, meaning your symptoms might not stay as well controlled.

I want to be honest with you though: this concern comes only from lab and animal studies, not from people, so it's more of a 'just in case' caution than a proven problem. Still, if you rely on prednisolone for something serious, it's worth a quick chat with your doctor or pharmacist before adding bupleurum.
