Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Risankizumab-Rzaa
Risankizumab-Rzaa falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Bupleurum interacts with.
In vitro and animal research suggests that bupleurum might stimulate immune function.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thinking on combining bupleurum with Skyrizi (risankizumab). Skyrizi is a monoclonal antibody that works by quieting down part of your overactive immune system, which is exactly how it calms psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and Crohn's flares. Bupleurum, on the other hand, has shown signs in lab and animal studies that it might rev the immune system back up. In theory, that could work against what Skyrizi is trying to do and let your skin patches, joint pain, or gut symptoms creep back.
I want to be honest though: this is theoretical and based only on test-tube and animal research, not real patients. So I wouldn't panic. Still, since Skyrizi is a serious medication for a real condition, please run any bupleurum-containing herbal formula past your doctor or pharmacist first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Risankizumab-Rzaa page
“Echinacea captures the concern on this page better than any other entry. Risankizumab-rzaa (Skyrizi) treats plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and Crohn's disease by quieting one arm of the immune system, and echinacea, like nearly all 53 ingredients listed here, is taken specifically to stir the immune system up.”
