    “Topically, butcher's broom may cause contact dermatitis. A 30-year-old female developed an erythematous, papular, pruritic rash on both legs after applying a cream containing butcher's broom root extract (Fabroven, Pierre Fabre Iberica) to varicose veins for 2 months. The rash spread to the entire body, and the patient had positive patch tests to ethanol extracts of butcher's broom.”

What Is Crizotinib Used For?

Brand name: Xalkori

Xalkori (crizotinib) treats adult patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors test positive for ALK or ROS1 gene changes, as confirmed by an FDA-approved test.

Xalkori is also used for pediatric patients (age 1 and older) and young adults with relapsed or refractory systemic ALK-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL), and for adult and pediatric patients (age 1 and older) with unresectable, recurrent, or refractory ALK-positive inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT). Xalkori's safety and effectiveness in older adults with relapsed or refractory ALK-positive ALCL have not been established.
