Here's the basic idea with the dream herb (Calea zacatechichi) and your chlorpropamide. Chlorpropamide already works hard to lower your blood sugar by nudging your pancreas to release more insulin. In animal studies, this herb on its own also seemed to bring blood sugar down a bit. So in theory, stacking the two could push your sugar a little lower than expected, meaning a slightly higher chance of a low (shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, feeling foggy or lightheaded).

I want to be honest: this is a theoretical concern based on lab and animal work, not solid human studies, and it's rated as a minor interaction. Chlorpropamide does stick around a long time in the body, so I'd still mention it to your pharmacist or doctor and keep an eye on your readings. Please don't change anything on your own.
